I updated BossPrefs today to v2.0.6b for firmware 2.0 only. This version adds some new features for hiding icons. This paves the way for Categories which I plan to start on immediately. Here are the formal changes:
- Added missing file needed to detect running state of custom services.
- Redid hidden icons GUI.
- Added ability to hide appstore apps now.
- Redid how icons are hidden. We now use 2.0’s restrictions mechanism to hide icons. This means that hidden icons no longer show up again on an upgrade of a package. The downside is, if you ever disable restrictions in the settings menu, (or enable it then disable it) all your icons will be visible again and you will have to hide them again. Note you should update poof (if you installed this) also. The two apps must be in sync if both used or hidden icons from one may not be able to be unhidden from the other.
For those of you that do not use BossPrefs, Poof has been updated to v2.10 for firmware 2.0 only with the same changes. Note: for anyone that has both apps installed, you must update both or you will have problems with hidden icons that one app hides and the other cannot unhide.
NES app was updated a few days ago and somehow I managed to totally mess up the update and it never got posted. Now I have posted v2.3.0. It adds accelerometer support (excellent!).
Neverball has been updated to v1.4.1. The main changes here are to update the data files used to allow for NeverPutt. (Note:Neverball is now calld NeverballME).
NeverPutt ME has been released. This is a nice Putt-Putt golf game based on the Neverball engine. Check it out!

The first Cydia 2.0 game is out!
Macman is a fantastic Pacman type game but a bit different. It plays very well and makes use of the accelerometer nicely. The controls are not bad. The game is fun! Check it out!

iSlsk got an update tonight to v0.2.1b. The changes straight from the developer, Errrick:
- Added “iTunes ReSync” function. This will allow to recover all the music you downloaded after being ‘deleted’ by iTunes when you last synced with your computer.
- If you have chosen the option “Manually manage my music library” on iTunes then you won’t need to use iTunes ReSync feature.
- All downloaded music now gets imported to a folder called “Imported” inside your downloads directory. This will allow you to transfer all these imported music with iSlsk to your computer, via SSH, WinSCP, iPhoneBrowser or whatever method you use to browse your iPhone/iPod filesystem
- Changed the donation account. Now all donations will go to my company (Akea Solutions) since I’m currently having some problems with my personal paypal account. Thanks to all the people who donated so far!
