App Update: Docs

To fix a reported bug reported by user LibC, I have released Docs v1.14. The update code was actually given to me by LibC, himself. (He finds a bug and suggests a fix, nice!). Anyways, it should fix encodings of directory scans that contain foreign language characters. Thanks LibC!

I trust you and I think all your apps are great. But why don’t you just make your Docs app easy and simple to use (as most of your app), like ruBooks?

I don’t know anything about ruBooks. What would make docs easier to use for you?

I mean the way ruBooks does. We don’t have to swipe right/left, up/down, zooming etc. Thanks

I like the Docs app, but there’s one problem that prevents me from using it as much as I’d like: it overwrites any suspended Safari state, so instead of opening the doc in a new Safari window, the document becomes the only window open. Bad!

i too am waiting for an update of docs to 2.x. I really like this app and is now one of the reasons that is holding me from updating my iphone firmware. Therefore, an earnest request for an update to this app.

docs is an amazing app, however, as toto2007 states, it is a little hard to focus on some texts as the page width means that the text has to be really small before it will fit. This could be remedied by making the compatible with the horisontal feature of the iphone accelerometer (i.e. so we can turn it sideways). This would help as text could be that little larger making vast improvements to the comfort. thanx

I tried to run the docs program on my 2g 2.1 iphone and am encountering problems. The app loads fine but when it opens I select my excel spreadsheet and the loading icon appears. The document will successfully open but the loading image will stay on and not go away. Basically the document is open in the background but I cannot really focus in on it due to the loading image. Any thoughts? I updated docs today and no change after restart, fyi…
