Ok this should be (crossing fingers) my final update to BossPrefs to address airplane / phone toggles. This update cleans up the GUI a bit. Airplane mode now auto toggles the wifi slider. And also added a config option to use the old or new phone toggle method. If you don’t have AT&T or such, you can use the non-compatible version of the toggle which works a bit nicer. Otherwise you get the one that sets airplane mode + wifi.

hi, if i turn ssh off and have ’ssh on reboot always’ on, when i reboot, ssh doesn’t start automatically. shouldn’t this be the expected behaviour or am i missing something?
i’m running 1.1.4, boss prefs 1.67, and open ssh
if you want any more info on my setup please ask

hi is it possible to add “this accesory is not made…” switch, fact is that many ppl is having problems with the dock connector and this pop up appears randomly and very often, thank you.

I’m not sure what you’re asking but if you ever have any dock that says “this accessory is not made..” you better *never* put your phone into it. You will ruin your phone.

dear bigboss: there is a common malfunction in all iphones , it is hardware related, many times the dock connector in the iphone gets dirt or even worse with some humidity contacts short circuit. It is really very common problem, google for “this accessory is not made…..”, problem is that the iphone thinks something is connected to it while in fact there is nothing. The message “this accessory is not….” pops up , speakers mute, and you have to press NO all the time. Trying to clean the connector does not work. Sometimes some corrosion is already made inside.

It works but the edge symbol does not go away. Try to access web and it should be unable to find the server.

Then try toggling of a couple times and restart the phone and try again. A couple people said it started working after this. Does wifi toggle work? If not then the app did not get installed with +s attributes. In any case, it works here so I cannot reproduce any failure. If I can’t reproduce, I can’t fix. Sorry.

I have stumbled unto a problem. This morning I used the ‘After reboot SSH always…’-switch for the first time, and ever since I have been unable to enable SSH. If I set it to ON, close BossPrefs then reopen SSH is disabled again.
I have tried to reinstall BossPrefs and OpenSSH, to no avail. Using Services instead of BossPrefs yields the same result: SSH gets disabled immediately again. Needless to say: connecting through WinSCP is impossible in any of these scenarios.
Is there any way to fix this? I still have access to the filesystem through iBrickr (with 1.1.4-fix). Not having SSH sucks…

Is it possibly that someone [you] point me to how to implement the airplane toggle into the latest realese [not the one in this thread]?
I read the guide from the forum here put can’t find out the lines of code I’ve to insert for toggling the airplane mode.
