The updates are sparse for the next few days as I’m out of town. Briefly:

Added and updated Periodic Table - a cool new app that provides an interactive periodic table.

Updated iFob - Preference to show yourself in the NEAR list. This helps demonstrate how iFob works with others around.

Another great app submission today, textReader. This is the iPhone’s first palm book reader. This is pretty major because most ebooks are in palm format. This turns the iPhone into a serious ebook reader. Other than that, it is very fast and can handle large text files as well as landscape mode. Thanks to developer James Beesley for a job well done. See his google code page for more details on the app.

It has been brought to my attention that since the Conceited Software merge, our repository page does not show the new apps. I will be getting these updated within the next week.  I will also be updating the more info pages on the apps inside installer. Please be patient.

Since I inhereted the term app from Conceited Software, I decided to grab the latest version and update it proper, and oh what a fantastic update it is. This update is more of an overhaul than an update. There are tons of new features but some of my favorites are:

• Rotate for landscape mode
• Swipe left and right for 4 different term windows!
• Logs in as mobile user without having to enter  a password (su to gain root)
• You can hotkey anything with a built in menu letting you customize hotkeys, gestures, you name it.

If you like having a term at all, this is the term to get. Grab it from our installer repository. Note: Saurik will be hosting the Cydia version.

This isn’t a real update. It just updates an issue I had in my installation script. Anyone installing this may have noticed there was no icon. That’s cause all the files were in /Applications. The update cleans up my error and puts the files into the correct place. Also, if you updated to 2.23, you would have noticed no changes. Now you’ll see the changes. Sorry about this.

Today, Drudge over at Conceited Software gave his repository to me. So we now host all Conceited Software’s packages. A big thanks to Drudge. Due to this, I have updated several packages that needed updates:

Mobile chat gets a long awaited update to v2.23. This version fully supports 1.1.3 and 1.1.4, adds landscape mode, and some other important things. It’s been out a while on the twenty08 source, but this brings it to the masses in community sources. This is also the debut for mobile chat in Cydia.

VNsea gets an update to v0.82. This adds support for Spanish language. Other than that, it’s pretty much the same. This is also the debut for VNsea in Cydia repository.

Nikotalkie gets an update to v1.45. The new version updates the server connect issues. This should enable Nikotalkie fans to be able to use the service again! The app also makes its debut into Cydia repository.

iRadio got an update today. The update fixes the 1.1.3 / 1.1.4 compatibility issues by setting the appropriate permissions to the app’s directory. This obsoletes my iRadio 1.1.3 fix which has been removed in place of this update. This is also iRadio’s debut into Cydia.

iFob got an update today. This update is mainly a user interface update. It adds some nice iPhone like status bar buttons to the bottom of the app’s U/I. This is also its debut in Cydia.

Both gPSphone (Gameboy Advance emulator) and psx4all (Playstation emulator) are now updated and brought up to the current versions from Zoddtd’s site. The community source is now inline with the public Zoddtd source eliminating the need to carry around that extra source.

Many other packages were moved (without updates) from Conceited SW to our repository. I will update the repo page in the next day or so.

Developer Jason Lin brings this native app, iLM (click link for screenshots), a LOCAL application for iPhoner to switch the Map.app Caches. It’s hosted in our repositories.

Ok this should be (crossing fingers) my final update to BossPrefs to address airplane / phone toggles. This update cleans up the GUI a bit. Airplane mode now auto toggles the wifi slider. And also added a config option to use the old or new phone toggle method. If you don’t have AT&T or such, you can use the non-compatible version of the toggle which works a bit nicer. Otherwise you get the one that sets airplane mode + wifi.
