Javascript guru Parm has developed some snazzy bookmarklets that you can now install into safari using our bookmarklets installer. The package is called “Parms Bookmarklets” and is available now in our repo. Some useful additions are included:
- Retrieve Gamertag - Pull your xbox live gamertag.
- Wiki This - A wikipedia web search.
- Mobilize - Takes advantage of Google’s Mobilize service - when used, takes the user to a mobile-friendly version of the current web page. Great for EDGE.
- AIM Status Checker - Checks if an AIM Buddy is online or offline.
- White Pages Lookup - Look up a phone number in white pages.
- Reference.com Encyclopedia Mobile Search - Search reference.com
- Dictionary.com Mobile Search - Search dictionary.com
- Thesaurus.com Mobile Search - Search Thesaurus.com
- iTranslate - Translate current page to English. Autodetects current language.
- Google Search Within Current Site - Searches the specific web site only.

Hi BigBoss :)
I tried to install Parmbookmarklets on my 1.1.4 iPlus2.0b’d iPhone with Cydia and got this error:

After staring at the error message a little bit longer I uninstalled the other bookmarklets app from your repo and now the installation of parmbookmarklets worked.
The two apps seem no to like each other :)

Looks like the problem could be fixed with a simple solution - rename the app installed by my package to ParmBookmarklets.app, and the application file to ParmBookmarklets. Then this problem will be avoided.

I agree. Need to figure out the best way to do this without forcing updates on everyone causing those problems we discussed earlier.

Yeah, do you know how many downloads there have been? Maybe a change wont affect that many users if we do it quickly - you could just make a new package listing with the error fixed instead of posting an update.

Oh…was this problem only for cydia or with installer as well? I havent tried installing my own package since i already have the bookmarks.

Hello Every One
Did any body jailBreak/unlocked the IPHONE 3G On Windows Vista Service pack 1 on the machine?
If so can any body Help me to JailBreak/Unlock 3g Iphone pointing to right resources/links(I was downaloading all the Things from Here like winpwn 2.0.0.4, When I do ISPW Builder on the Advance tab I can’t select Enable BaseBand Update, Unlock BaseBand, Auto Delete Bootneuter.app, BootLoader 3.9 and BootLoader 4.6( all those are inactive/greyed out) is it the problem of windows vista?, Access permission issues? Down Loading Wrong files(I was down loading all the file from Winpwn and following the instructions proided there
I would appreciate any help in thins regard and look forwardto hear soon
