Developer Marco Giorgini brings you iPac3D. iPac3D is a 3D PacMan-like game. Using Yeti3D engine for software rendering, this iPhone application offers a full-immersion in several mazes, inside which user goal is to collect cubes, avoiding enemies. As in the original coin-op special cubes will permit user, just for a short time, to eat opponents. 15 levels (each bigger than the previous) and three different difficulty settings are present, and user can also select different ways to move the main character around - even using accelerometer. I updated BossPrefs again to v1.61. The only change over 1.60 is that it now prevents the user from being able to add the BossPrefs icon to the BossPrefs dock. A couple users managed to add this for some reason and the result is that the BossPrefs icon goes away and there is no way to get it back without installer, term, or poof. If you hid those too, well then you’d be screwed. Get it in our repo.

Javascript guru Parm has developed some snazzy bookmarklets that you can now install into safari using our bookmarklets installer. The package is called “Parms Bookmarklets” and is available now in our repo. Some useful additions are included:

• Retrieve Gamertag - Pull your xbox live gamertag.
• Wiki This - A wikipedia web search.
• Mobilize - Takes advantage of Google’s Mobilize service - when used, takes the user to a mobile-friendly version of the current web page. Great for EDGE.
• AIM Status Checker - Checks if an AIM Buddy is online or offline.
• White Pages Lookup - Look up a phone number in white pages.
• Reference.com Encyclopedia Mobile Search - Search reference.com
• Dictionary.com Mobile Search - Search dictionary.com
• Thesaurus.com Mobile Search - Search Thesaurus.com
• iTranslate - Translate current page to English. Autodetects current language.
• Google Search Within Current Site - Searches the specific web site only.

Touchpad Pro has been updated to v3.0 with some new features. Here is a listing of new features which looks very substantial.

Right, I know I just released 1.57 yesterday but I got the programming bug and had to get some work done. I finally got started on the features I planned to add in the very beginning. I added the start of an extended preference page. This will be expanded and the user interface overhauled in the future, but here are the new features:

Dock Icons - this is the “Icons” button from before.

Fix User Dir Permissions - ok, ever had a 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 jailbreak where your mail app crashed? Or your notes.db wouldn’t save? Or your safari cookies wouldn’t save? Or you installed some SummerBoard themes from installer (Skylar fix your themes) and the icons won’t work? Just run this and it should fix these issues. You can run it each time you encounter it over and over again.

Enable/Disable Springboard Screenshot - There is an app to do this on some obscure repository. Now it’s in BossPrefs. As of 1.1.3, springboard has built in the ability to take screen captures. Just hold home and toggle the silence switch. The screen flashes white, and a new picture is added to your camera roll. It does not take up any resources and never needs to be disabled.

BossPrefs to Double Tap Home - Lets you set BossPrefs to double tap home key. Why would you want to do this you ask? First, it’s a good way to bring up the toggles quickly. But more importantly, if you ever have a problem where you get no icons on your springboard due to some app, you can double tap home, load BossPrefs, and use its icons on the dock to solve your issue without a restore. Great way to bail yourself out of a problem.

Show Disk Space - Finally, there is no way to view disk space without typing in terminal. This shows your free disk space. I may incorporate some BossTool style logic here later.
